The Free Association's New Improv Venue

In October 2025, The Free Association (FA) opened the doors to its first permanent venue at the Old Union Yard Arches in Southwark, London. The launch marked a new chapter for the company, which has spent over a decade creating shows and teaching classes across the city.

The space is designed with improvised comedy at its core and includes a 104-seat theatre, a purpose-built classroom for The FA’s training programmes, and a bar and café open to the public.

Programme details for regular shows, classes and events are now listed on The FA’s website (thefreeassociation.co.uk), with performances well underway as part of the venue’s first season.
