Hoopla Impro, the UK’s first dedicated improv theatre and biggest improv school, has announced a huge festival for its 20th-anniversary celebrations.
The festival will run this spring from 10th April to 21st May at The Miller in London Bridge.
Hoopla has confirmed some top shows as they celebrate the past, present and future of improv, bringing together improvisers who appeared there early in their careers with current headline acts.
Highlights from the confirmed programme include: Showstoppers! The Improvised Musical!, MC Hammersmith, Rob Broderick’s Abandoman!, and members of The Comedy Store Players.

The festival will also host special edition shows from regular headline favourites The RH Experience, Comediasians, Do The Right Scene and Dreamweaver Quartet.
Hoopla Director, Steve Roe said: "I just can't believe Hoopla is 20 years old - the time has flown by.”
“It's an honour to be a part of the amazing improv community and the incredible improv revolution that's swept through the UK. This has been a massive team effort, with 1,000s of people and 100s of shows and improv companies working together over decades with a shared passion for improvisation.”
“I'm really excited to see groups that usually perform on the West End or to other massive audiences back in our cosy 80-seater venue. It's going to be amazing to see groups like the Showstopper up close!"
Applications are open to perform at the festival for cast reunion shows, headline acts and wild new ideas. The deadline to apply is 6th March 2026.
