Applications Open For Greater Manchester Improv Festival
Great improv comes to Greater Manchester!

The Greater Manchester Improv Festival will return from 5th - 7th June 2026, with 3 days of improv shows and workshops taking place at The Kings Arms, Salford.
Organised by The Totally Improvised Company, who are celebrating their twenty-fifth year as an ensemble in 2026, the festival aims to showcase some of the best in improv comedy and theatre from Greater Manchester and beyond.
Launched in 2025, the inaugural programme hosted sixteen shows across two venues, including Shakespeare On The Spot and The Totally Improvised Musical.

Applications have opened for teams and shows to feature as part of the 2026 programme and will close at midnight on 22nd February 2026.
Festival co-organiser Sean Mason said: “We’re keen to showcase the wealth of local talent while also making Manchester an improv destination. Home teams will always be central to our programme, but we’re absolutely open to groups from farther afield and are keen to hear from a diverse range of voices.”
Workshop applications will open soon, with the full festival programme set to launch in April.
