A full year of shows, events and celebrations as one of London’s longest-running improv companies turns 20.
2026 marks 20 years of Hoopla Impro, with the company announcing plans for anniversary celebrations throughout the year. In a social post, Hoopla shared that audiences can expect a mix of shows, events, socials and parties, with plenty of opportunities for performers and audiences to get involved.
Founded in 2006, Hoopla was the UK’s first improv theatre and is now the UK's biggest improv school. Based in London, the company runs regular classes, jams and performances, and has played a key role in shaping the city’s improv scene over the past two decades.
While specific anniversary events are still to be announced, Hoopla say the celebrations will look back at the past, reflect the present, and make space for the future of improv. More details are expected soon - and we’ll be sure to share any updates from Hoopla here on the Impro Post.
Congratulations Hoopla!
