Hi, Greg here! For this April edition of Top Picks, I wanted to do something special to celebrate Hoopla Impro’s 20th anniversary.

Hoopla has been one of the biggest joys of my life - I performed my very first improv gig on their stage over 10 years ago. What Steve Roe and the team have created is truly incredible. The impact Hoopla has had on the UK improv community is remarkable.

Over the past two decades, Hoopla has been home to countless brilliant shows and performers. Many improvisers who started out at Hoopla have gone on to the West End, TV and radio - and now they’re back as part of the 20th anniversary festival.

So this month’s Top Picks is a celebration of Hoopla, and the joy it’s brought to me and so many others - featuring some of the highlights from the anniversary programme.

Ruth Bratt (Showstopper! The Improvised Musical), Lee Simpson (The Comedy Store Players) and Lauren Shearing (Austentatious) join forces for this Hoopla debut of Three Grown Ups Sitting Round A Table, an entirely improvised show with real props and real humans.
