Edinburgh International Improv Festival

Ed Improv Fest has an outstanding reputation for bringing top international improvisers to Scotland’s capital. This year has some standout shows, including Tongue & Groove (Improvisers from Dropout TV and at UCB LA), What The Hell? and Chris Gethard & Trumane Alston. Giant Steps

Giant Steps is a fusion of improv comedy and live jazz, where performers and musicians inspire each other to create a one-of-a-kind improvised show. Created by comedians Max Dickins and Conor Jatter, Giant Steps features a rotating ensemble of talent from your favourite improv shows like Showstoppers and Austentatious. An original show, well worth a watch!

Closer Each Day

Set in the fictional town of Newtown, Closer Each Day is the longest running theatre show outside of London and the world’s longest improvised story. Closer brings you all the drama, romance, and intrigue of a traditional soap, but with the comedy and excitement of an unscripted live show. Closer Each Day has run fortnightly at The Wardrobe Theatre for over 14 years and over 250 episodes!

Dreamweaver Quartet (feat. Jiavani)

A surreal improvised musical that brings your dreams to life! Dreamweaver Quartet is one of Hoopla Impro's most popular groups with regular sell-out shows. This March they are joined by the brilliant Jiavani from DropoutTV and UCB.
